Meet The Family
Not only do we have 5 cats, 3 of whom were rescues, but we also have 4 dogs, including 2 rescues. Animals are our passion and if we could, we would rescue every cat and dog. Rest assured, however, the dogs are not allowed in the orchard or anywhere near the hotel. They are fortunate enough to have their own fields to run in and they are very content with that.

The hotel sits in our own grounds, which means we are able to offer a 24-hour presence to ensure the safety of our guests, especially those on medication, young kittens and senior guests. The hotel is shrouded from the lane by large double gates. There is a double entry door system and motion sensor security lights so you can be certain your cat is secure staying with us.
Check In / Check Out
Our aim is not only to provide the ultimate service for your cat but also for you. That’s why check in and check out are strictly by appointment only. This ensures we are able to devote our undivided attention to you and your cat without distraction.
Our opening hours are:
Monday to Saturday 9.00 am – 11.00 am and 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Sunday 9.00 am – 11.00 am
We are closed on Sunday afternoons, Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. However, we understand that sometimes it’s difficult for you to make an appointment within opening hours and we also understand that it’s important for you to be reunited with your cat at the earliest opportunity. That’s why we do offer out of hours appointments for check in and check out where we are able to accommodate them. These appointments can be booked between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm at an additional cost of £15.00 per appointment (£20.00 on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve).
Keeping In Touch
We are pleased to offer state of the art 24-hour webcam access to your cat’s room whilst you are away. With simple access through the internet you can log in and see how your cat is enjoying their stay from anywhere in the world. An additional charge is made for webcam access (please see Pricing & Services for details).
If you have a WhatsApp account, or access to text messages, we are happy to send you an update or ‘postcard’ from your cat periodically throughout their stay.
We are happy to administer medication as long as your cats are used to it and are happy for us to do so. Please remember where medication is concerned, we are a care home not a nursing home so your cat must be stabilised on whatever medication they are on. We do not charge extra for this service.
Pricing & Services
Day of arrival, day of departure and all days booked are charged for (not just days used if stay is shortened). We have a minimum booking charge of 3 days (even if your stay is shorter than that) to cover the deep clean sanitising of our suites between guests. Stays over Christmas Day and Boxing Day are subject to a 5-day minimum charge and stays over New Year’s Day are subject to a 4-day minimum charge.
Payment in full is required at check-out. There are no exceptions to this. We accept cash, card or bank transfer payments.
We require 14 days’ notice in the event of cancellation. Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice will incur full charge. Bookings over the Christmas and New Year period require 4 weeks’ notice of cancellation otherwise full payment for the period booked will be charged. If, however, the suite can be resold a full or partial refund may be offered at our discretion.
